I’m Mohammad Yousuf, though almost everyone calls me Anik. I’m a CTO, and building software is my day job: SaaS products, WordPress plugins and custom apps.
One of the products I build is LinkBoss, an internal linking tool for SEO. Working on it means I spend a lot of time inside other people’s SEO and marketing software, studying how they solve the same problems I do.
Why I review software
I review tools because I enjoy it, and because a builder sees things a feature list hides: how a product handles edge cases, where it cuts corners, and what it will cost you once you outgrow the starter plan.
The reviews focus on SEO and marketing software and WordPress plugins. Most of them answer one of two questions: what is the best tool for a specific job, and what should you switch to when your current tool stops fitting.
Tools I use myself
Some reviews come from hands-on use and some from the vendor’s own documentation. The tools I have used in real work are Semrush, Ahrefs, Surfer SEO, Clearscope and Frase, plus the internal linking tools Link Whisper, Internal Link Juicer, Linkilo and Interlinks Manager, and the linking features in Yoast and Rank Math.
Every review says which kind it is. The full process is on the How I test page.
About LinkBoss
I own LinkBoss. When it comes up in a comparison, the page tells you near the first mention, so you can weigh my opinion with that in mind. I try to be specific about where other tools are the better pick.
